Inter Milan’s Xherdan Shaqiri scored an incredible goal in training to show everyone just what they can expect from him this season. The highly talented attacker has been questioned about his ability to succeed at Inter in the recent past, but this training ground effort might just convince a few of his critics.
The move started off with Shaqiri receiving the ball on the right. The Swiss international knocked the ball past the keeper with ease, following which he unleashed a curling effort from an improbable angle into the back of the net.
The 23-year-old made 15 appearances and scored once for Inter since joining them in January.
He rejected a chance to join Stoke City in the Premier League after the Potters successfully bid for the ex-Bayern player and is reportedly set for a move to Schalke, although it looks like he could be staying in Italy after impressing Roberto Mancini in pre-season.
