Kevin de Paula will be playing the lead role in the film and according to the end credits of the trailer, the Oscar and Grammy Award-winning Indian music composer, AR Rahman has worked on the soundtrack of the movie.
The trailer beautifully portrays Pele’s journey to stardom and the way he persevered to the ultimate glory of lifting the World Cup for his country despite the countless number of hardships that were thrown in his path. The film is rumoured to centre around the relationship between Pele and his father.
The movie is currently in its post-production stage and its release date is yet to be decided.
