Wayne Rooney abused by Manchester United fans on Twitter

Manchester United fans, who are not happy with Wayne Rooney after reports surfaced about the striker’s demand for transfer from the club, have taken to social networking site Twitter to vent out their anger.

The England international’s wife Coleen Rooney lashed out on the miscreants for their derogatory comments about her husband.

“Grow up you gang of cranks,” Coleen wrote on Twitter.

Wayne Rooney has been linked to a possible move to Chelsea or Arsenal.

Rooney, who has been going through a tough time, was also booed by the United fans at Old Trafford during the Premier League trophy presentation earlier this year.
