Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney was seen chilling out with golfer Rory McIlroy at the ‘Neighbourhood’ bar and restaurant on Saturday night after the defeat to West Brom.
United was stunned by West Brom, with Rooney powerless despite scoring a goal with a free-kick. The result has fumed the fans and Rooney decided to take solace in the golfer’s company. Rooney has been in blistering form lately but the team still fails to produce result and have recorded their worst start to a Premier League season.
Meanwhile, McIlroy recently announced his split with management company Horizon Sports in order to start his own. McIlory’s company will be named Rory McIlroy Incorporated (RMI) and former advisor of the golfer, Donal Casey was chosen as the head of the company.
