#4 Romaine Sawyers

Romaine Sawyers, a former product of Albion's youth academy, has been linked with a return after impressing at Brentford.

Darren Moore and first-team coach James Shan had both worked with Sawyers in the youth academy, which could be pivotal in enticing the 26-year-old back to the Baggies.

It is believed that Moore only plans to bid for the player if Nacer Chadli departs. Chadli, who has impressed for Belgium at the World Cup, has a £17 million relegation release clause in his contract, which might very well be activated given his quality performances on the world stage as of late.

Sawyers scored four goals and assisted five for Brentford in the Championship last season.

He joined the Bees from Walsall on a free transfer in 2016, so any amount they receive would be a profit.
