West Bromwich Albion had a busy transfer deadline day as they bolstered their squad with four additions, while striker Peter Odemwingie joined Cardiff.
The first deal of the day was the signing of Morgan Amalfitano on loan from Marseille, followed by the arrival of goalkeeper Lee Camp on a free transfer as cover for the injured Ben Foster.
West Brom spent much of the day trying to bolster their attacking options, as they have struggled for goals so far in the Premier League campaign. Benin international Stephane Sessegnon arrived from Sunderland as West Brom broke their transfer record, although the fee has remained undisclosed, say Sky Sports News.
Victor Anichebe arrived late on from Everton for a fee of £5 million + £1 million in potential add-ons.
Morgan Amalfitano, 28, arrives on a one-year loan with an option for West Brom to buy the midfielder at the end of the season.
North Ireland international Lee Camp joins as cover for Ben Foster on a rolling monthly contract, according to the BBC.
Stephane Sessegnon arrived from Sunderland, after Paolo Di Canio said just last month that he did not want to sell the 29-year-old.
