Wallace currently plays for Bundesliga outfit Hannover 96 as a defensive midfielder. He has featured in 21 appearances for the struggling German side this season. The 23-year-old was called up in the Olympic squad as a replacement for Fred, whose club Shakhtar Donetsk refused to release him for the tournament.
