A new season brings new hopes and dreams as Manchester United is getting ready for the Premier League opener against Bournemouth on Sunday. Before that we look at the home, away and the third kit for Manchester United, which has been launched already.
MANCHESTER UNITED 16-17 Home Jersey
The new Manchester United 16-17 home kit was officially released, on the club's pre-season tour in China. Inspired by the green and yellow shirts worn by its predecessor club Newton Heath, the Manchester United 2016-17 home jersey sports a half-and-half design in two shades of red.
This style is continued onto the sleeves, while the front halves are connected through a hexagon detail, which also appears in other parts of the shirt and the rest of Manchester United's 16-17 Adidas collection.
As always, the new Manchester United home shirt gets combined with white shorts and black socks, both based on Adidas' new Euro 2016 kit templates and featuring details in red.
MANCHESTER UNITED 16-17 Away Jersey
Manchester United have revealed their new away strip for the 2016-17 season earlier, with a return to the blue colour. The Manchester United away kit resembles the iconic all-blue kit worn in the 1968 European Cup final.
Red accents in the form of the Adidas Performance logo on the front and the three stripes, positioned on the shoulders, complement the striking appearance of the Manchester United 2016-17 away shirt.
Launched on May 11th, the Manchester United away shirt made his debut in the pre-season game against Borussia Dortmund in July.
MANCHESTER UNITED 16-17 Third Kit
Released on July 29, 2016, the new Manchester United third kit features a stand-out hexagon graphic print on both sleeves, inspired by the worker bee present in the Manchester coat of arms.
The Manchester United 2016-17 third jersey is white, combined with a trim in grey, officially labelled Bold Onix. The unusual colour scheme is also applied to the Manchester United crest on the new Manchester United third kit.
A smart design overall, the Manchester United third kit is rounded off with a grey collar and sleeve cuffs in the same colour. It's also used in the lateral Adidas stripes of the new Manchester United third jersey.
Made by Adidas and featuring Chevrolet as a sponsor, the Manchester United 2016-17 jerseys are available now.
