Since Suarez has been the lone man causing havoc in the opposition defense, what do u think Liverpool needs to get going? I mean what do WE need to become a force to be reckoned with? People would say Cavani, Huntelaar, Lewandowski. But I would say first of all we need a good keeper. Reina, well he is not at all consistent and Brad Jones, well he is improving but still needs some time to become our regular number one. So possible options are an in-form Vorm or maybe a young and exciting Jack Butland. So we can nab one of these two and maybe sell Doni, who has done nothing much since arriving to Liverpool from Roma.
In the defense we look secure with the great wall of Anfield. Agger and Skrtel have good backup in Jamie Carragher and Sebastien Coates. Then on the left side, we have an inconsistent Enrique who on one day goes really bad but on the other goes great, but he is good enough to stay in our starting 11. On the right side, we have one of the most improved footballers in the world for me, Glen Johnson. Well Kelly is quite impressive but Wisdom has to pull his socks up. When Enrique is unfit, injured or suspended, the problem which arises is that Wisdom plays RB instead of Johnson and Johnson has to play in an uncomfortable LB position. So to fix this problem, we would have to play Jack Robinson in the team which is not possible as he is not yet ready to play in the Premier League. So this means we need a LB too. Possible options are Ashley Cole (overrated) and Lucas Digne, who is a French international and plays for Lille.
With Allen, Lucas, Gerrard and Shelvey, we don’t need anything in the center midfield. Sterling on the right wing is absolutely perfect and on the left wing, we have Suso who is great too. Alan Pardew rightly said that Suso is the best young talent of the Premier league. Well that is covered. So now striker Luis Suarez has done so much alone for Lfc, he deserves some luxury via the signing of a new striker. We have many options like Cavani, Huntelaar, Ba, Llorente and the list goes on. But let’s see who Liverpool sign in the January transfer window. So I leave it all on our manager, Brendan Rodgers. YNWA.
