Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho provided a cheeky response to a fan before the Red Devils' Europa League match against PAOK on Thursday (November 08). The Argentina international will be hoping to impress ahead of the arrival of new head coach Ruben Amorim.

He was subjected to a few tips from a fan, who managed to get some words in as Garnacho came over to sign autographs for a couple of other supporters. In a video posted by the X handle (formerly Twitter) @UtdDistrict, the man can be heard saying:

"Garnacho, you gotta pass better today yeah, please. Pass better today, score a goal and work on your first touch as well yeah."

In response, the winger said:

"Why are you not playing, man?"

Although Garnacho wasn't seen as a sure-shot start at the beginning of the season by Erik ten Hag, the 20-year-old seems to have made sure of his place. With the space on the left flank occupied by Marcus Rashford, the Argentine has beaten the likes of Antony and Amad Diallo for a first-XI spot on the right.

However, Garnacho has failed to churn up the numbers in the Premier League so far this campaign. Despite managing seven starts and 10 appearances in the English top flight, he's netted just twice and produced one assist.

Most of the winger's goal contributions have come in the Carabao Cup, where he's netted thrice and assisted the same number of times in two matches.

Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho says he wishes to become a legend at the club. The Red Devils have seen many heroes over the years, including the likes of George Best, Steve Coppell and Ryan Giggs, among others.

The Argentine forward believes that with the support of the club's fans, he can reach the status of these players. Speaking to United Review, he said (via the club's official website):

"It is amazing to be part of that and I want to do something similar. They’re legends and they have done amazing things in their career. I want to be a legend at this club and to improve, week on week, to be an important figure here."

Garnacho spent some time with Manchester United's youth set-up after signing from Atletico Madrid in 2020. To date, he's made 102 senior team appearances across competitions, bagging 21 goals and 14 assists.
