Salman Khan who was rumoured to be a part of ISL as a co-owner of FC Pune City today revealed why he cannot be an owner at a franchise.
The Bollywood superstar tweeted why he won’t be associated with any ISL team this season.
Dheeraj and Kapil Wadhawan, the co-owners of FC Pune City did approach Salman for a possible partnership. However, it couldn’t materialize as the actor was tied-up with certain endorsement contracts with sponsors that cann’t associate with the team.
He also appreciated the work put in by Nita Ambani and IMG-Reliance in the grassroots program that aims to develop country’s finest homegrown talents in the next few years.
Meanwhile, FC Pune City have unveiled Hrithik Roshan as their new co-owner ahead of the inaugral ISL season that is scheduled to kick-off this Sunday.
