Manchester United are ahead of Arsenal in the race for Crystal Palace’s starlet Wilfried Zaha, says ESPN. The youngster was called up for an international match against Sweden last year and has gained a lot of prominence in this season. Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked to the 20-year old international, who has been in great form this season. The website also said that offers have been made by both the clubs. It is also reported that United are on the verge of claiming his services, considering their position on the league table when compared to Arsenal.
Crystal Palace demanded a whopping £20 million for Zaha at the beginning of the season, but are now considering a bid in the region of £10 million to let him go during the January window. Reports claim that Crystal Palace will cash in on Zaha only if he is loaned back immediately. This is a great setback for the Gunners, as they would want to include this youngster in their team immediately.
The player said that he is ready to play at the next level even, though the club’s chairman said that he is not. If Zaha is going to Old Trafford, it would be the beginning of the end for Nani at Manchester United.
