Wilfried Zaha is on the verge of finally completing his move from Crystal Palace to Manchester United. It will be finalised before the weekend after the Red Devils agreed a deal worth more £15 million.
£10m will be the actual transfer fee for the 20-year-old, and the remaining £5m will come from bonus and other clauses. The forward will initially earn £35,000 a week at Old Trafford for the next five-and-a-half-years. Additionally, Palace have a clause whereby they would be entitled to a proportion of any profit should Zaha be sold by United. Wilfried Zaha will complete the season on loan at Crystal Palace after his move to Manchester United has been finalised.
Zaha had joined Palace’s academy at the age of 12. He made his debut for England in the match in November’s 4-2 friendly defeat to Sweden and is expected to be named in the England squad for next month’s friendly against Brazil at Wembley. He presently has scored 15 times in 124 appearances for the club.
