According to the Express, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea target Luis Gustavo is valued at £26 million by Wolfsburg.
The 24-year-old enforcer joined Wolfsburg last summer, bringing an end to his three-year stint at Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
The Brazilian native has continued to impress at his new club, drawing the attention of a long list of European suitors, including the Premier League trio, Barcelona and Inter Milan.
Previously it was reported that discussions were taking place between Inter and Wolfsburg over a £20 million deal for Gustavo. In the end, they elected to pursue Yann M’Villa instead.
Reports in Italy suggest Inter’s change in heart was a result of Wolfsburg standing firm on Gustavo’s £26 million release clause.
Gustavo is currently at the World Cup with the Brazil squad but might entertain a move away from the Volkswagen Arena when the quadrennial tournament reaches its conclusion – if his quotes from the end of last year are anything to go by.
“It’s always good to have your name linked to Barcelona,” he said.
“I have a long contract which includes a buyout fee, and if anyone wants to pay that, they can sign me.”
