Women's World Cup 2019: Alex Morgan and USA train ahead of Women's World Cup match against Thailand
Defending champions United States trained on Saturday ahead of their opening match in the Women's World Cup against Thailand.
The USA are the favourites in France and are aiming for their fourth world title after victories in the first tournament in 1991, in 1999 and again four years ago.
Manager Jill Ellis can call upon a number of big names who helped the States to that 2015 win - including striker Alex Morgan and Carli Lloyd who scored a hat-trick in the final against Japan four years ago.
As well as Thailand, USA also face Chile and Sweden in their group.
