London, Dec 29 (IANS) Termed a 'wonderkid', Norwegian footballer Martin Odegaard is already weighing up which club to choose from the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City where he will be visiting next week when most boys of his age would dream of signing for any one of them.
The 16-year-old attacking midfielder, who is already a Norway international, has been on football's equivalent of a serial speed-date in recent weeks, visiting Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Ajax, reports mirror.co.uk.
Odegaard is one of the most sought after players this season featuring on the wish list of some of the biggest clubs, but is taking his time to decide his future and his father/agent, Hans-Erik Odegaard says he is sure their approach to assess his options is the right one.
"We have no influence on what others think of it. Everyone has an option about it, but we think this is the right approach," Hans said.
