#2 Marcelo
A back injury forced Marcelo off the field less than ten minutes into their last group stage game against Serbia and sidelined him from the Round of 16 tie against Mexico. Filipe Luis was drafted in for those 170 minutes and did a fine job under the circumstances.
But Marcelo is arguably the best left-back in the world at the moment, and his performances over the last few years have been nothing short of stunning both defensively and offensively. It is safe to say that as long as he is fit, he will walk right back into the starting XI for a tie of this magnitude.
In addition, while Meunier has been impressive for Belgium at right wing-back, he has been found wanting defensively at times during the tournament. Marcelo is more than capable of exploiting this weakness on the attack while countering Meunier's attacking threat as well.
