#1 Killed the game off when Serbia were threatening the most
After weathering the Serbian storm in the opening exchanges of the second half, Brazil knocked the stuffing out of the opposition with a sucker-punch from a set-piece. Neymar was happy to release some of the pressure that was building on his defence by winning a corner. Brazil slowed the game down for a bit and sent in reinforcements for Neymar's delivery.
The PSG talisman whipped in a wonderful delivery, asking for someone to go and head it into the back of the net. His club teammate, Thiago Silva, insisted on thumping it into the back of the net instead. You could sense the wind being knocked out of Serbia's sails.
As long as it was 1-0, Serbia were always in with a chance and threatened to restore parity after the restart. But the way the Brazilians killed the game off, picking the perfect moment to do so, meant that they could play out the rest of the game at walking pace. And that's exactly what they did for the remaining 20 minutes or so.
