#1 Best - Nordin Amrabat
What a performance from the most unlikely of sources. Nordin Amrabat embodied the spirit and fight that almost carried Morocco to victory over one of the tournament favourites.
The Moroccan winger didn't only lock down Jordi Alba, but constantly piled on the pressure against a Spanish team that dominated in possession. He was also one of the rare outlets to provide his defence with some attacking relief.
Alongside holding the ball and attempting to initiate some much-needed counter-attacks for the North Africans, he nearly crowned his performance with a goal of the year contender.
Amrabat rattled the crossbar from outside of the box with a ferocious effort that deserved to hit the back of the net.
While his performance may not have been as flashy as that of the likes of Isco and Iniesta, the Watford man deserves all the credit for a marvelous performance that has rightfully earned him our man-of-the-match award.
