4. 2014 World Cup, Brazil: Brazil 0-0 Mexico
It took 48 years for the next match between Brazil and Mexico to happen after once again being drawn into the same group.
Brazil came into the 2014 World Cup hoping for a 6th World title in front of their home fans while Mexico was searching for their sixth successive appearance in the round of 16.
In a match where Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa single-handedly kept Mexico at bay with a string of impressive saves from Neymar and Thiago Silva, Mexico held their own to earn their first point ever in this fixture as well as keeping the Brazilian from scoring for the first time after the match ended 0-0.
Brazil finished the 2014 World Cup in fourth place as they were thrashed 7-1 by eventual champions Germany in the semi-finals after which the Netherlands defeated them 3-0 to end their World Cup campaign in 4th place while Mexico crashed out in the round of 16 for the sixth year running.
Will Mexico finally beat Brazil in this fixture or will Selecaos make it 5 games unbeaten?
