Jordi Alba is the world's most valuable left-back

Completing an all-La Liga backline, Jordi Alba has enjoyed a stellar career at Barcelona. Boasting over 160 appearances for the Catalan club, Alba has won numerous trophies and accolades during his time at the Nou Camp. In a tight tussle with Marcelo for a place in this team, Alba's personal success and slightly younger age have made him more greatly valued by the smallest of margins.

A technically superior left-back, Alba also boasts a significant attacking prowess. In fact, he has been used as an attacking winger on several occasions by both club and country.
