Al Sadd defeated nine-man Al Duhail 1-0 to lift their 15th Sheikh Jassim Cup on Saturday, with coach Xavi Hernandez winning his first title as coach.
The winners of the Qatars Stars League and the Emir of Qatar Cup play the Sheikh Jassim Cup.
Ali Asad Baqer scored on the 14th minute of the first half, with Al Duhail's Luiz and Assim Omer Madibo being sent off by straight red card in the second half.
