Xavi's Al Sadd recover from early setback to beat Umm Salal 2-1 in Qatar Stars League
Al Sadd moved into third place in the Qatar Stars League on Friday when they came from behind to defeat Umm Salal 2-1.
Some slack defending allowed Mahmoud Al Mawas to wriggle to the bye-line and set up Yannick Sagbo to give Umm Salal an early lead.
A neat first-time finish from Akram Afif made it all square after 19 minutes - the winner came from the penalty spot following a foul on Baghdad Bounedjah.
Bounedjah got up to score from the spot and maintain Al Sadd's 100 per cent start to the season.
