Long-term Everton and Liverpool target Yann M’Vila will be made available by Rubin Kazan in the summer.
The 23-year-old only joined the Russian outfit in January of 2013 but manager Rinat Bilyaletdinov is keen to introduce a new transfer market strategy at the club.
Emphasis has been placed on expensive foreign imports in recent years but Kazan now want to focus their efforts on promoting young local talent and developing them into players fit for the first team.
The French midfielder has reportedly been notified that he is free to look for other clubs, report Talk SPORT, and should have no shortage of potential suitors given the furore and speculation that surrounded him when he swapped Rennes for Russia last year.
M’Vila was photographed amongst Liverpool’s fans during the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park earlier in the season and Brendan Rodgers is believed to be a keen admirer.
The Northern Irishman is in the market for a central midfielder as he looks to bolster his options if Liverpool, as expected, qualify for next season’s Champions League.
However, Toffees boss Roberto Martinez has also earmarked M’Vila as a transfer target, particularly if he fails to secure a permanent deal for Gareth Barry, who is on loan from Premier League rivals Manchester City.
Yann M’Vila has an 80% take-on success rate in the Russian League this season.
