Youth & Old partnership - Ultimate Charisma

As a diehard Chelsea FC fan, it has been the most amazing start for the season you could ever expect. Fluid attacking play, at least for which Chelsea is not known in Roman’s era, is here. The partnership between the old and young players is amazing. Even though we were European champions last season, we were lacking fluid play. People say, Chelsea park their bus in front of goal. But not anymore! Eden Hazard, the mercurial signing of Chelsea, is the ultimate persona a fan can expect. Chelsea is known for big muscular players but now things seems to have changed. Current signings and the previous year signings are giving the attacking dimensions to Chelsea. The partnership and understanding between the old guards and youth has given the best result. Hazard, Mata and Torres are playing as if they are on a pinball machine whereas Lampard and Mikel as starter and provider at deep midfield.

Introduction of Cesar Azpilicueta will not only solidify the defence but now Di Matteo can also give Terry some rest in low-profile matches, seeing his recent injury concerns. Lampard is playing the pivotal role in the team with Cole still the best left back in the world. The best feeling is when Torres scores a goal! Hazard and Mata are doing their best for the same. We still have to see what dimensions Victor Mosses and Marco Marin can add to the team.

In Terry’s absence, both in Champions league final and against Newcastle, it has given Garry Cahill and David Luiz a chance to play together and they have given a solid performance on both occasions. I can say Garry Cahill is the best buy after Eden Hazard as he was cheap and is better than David Luiz. After the sacking of Villas Boas, Ashley Cole is playing fabulously. He is one of the main reasons that today we are European champions. And Branislav Ivanovic – what I can say about him – he is precious. He is solid defensively and is scoring goals more often.

For John Terry, I can only say Captain, Leader, Legend. Juan Mata is the best partner for Eden Hazard in midfield. His silky passes, assists and goal scoring ability is amazing. Victor Mosses is the great buy, we will see him in future. Oscar, the wonder kid, has shown his ability. He has great pace. In future, he will play a pivotal role in Chelsea’s squad. Although Daniel Sturidge is selfish, he is an amazing talent. Last season, we saw him scoring 11 goals while playing as winger. He always wants to play as a central striker. In this long season, he would get that role more. Torres is back, he is the guy who is back more time than Arnold Schwarzenegger! This time Chelsea fans can expect a golden boot for him. Roman has built a team with Torres as it’s focal point. He wants Torres to score goals. As a Chelsea fan, it’s a wonderful moment when Torres scores.

At each and every position, we have depth in the squad. Lastly, this is Abramovich’s era and you can expect a big surprise on the 31st August.
