Cardiff City look set to end Wilfried Zaha’s Manchester United hell by sealing a loan move for the winger within the next few days, theMetro report.
Zaha was signed for £15million in Sir Alex Ferguson’s final piece of business last summer, although he remained with Crystal Palace for the duration of the season as per the agreement.
However, he has not proved popular under new boss David Moyes, who has only seen fit to give him two substitute appearances, as he has spent the majority of his United career playing for the Under 21 team.
He was reportedly even dropped from the youth side as a punishment for turning up late, with his attitude having come under serious question during his time at Old Trafford.
The England Under-21 international has looked set for a loan move in the January transfer window and it seems Cardiff have won the race to land his signature ahead of the likes of Newcastle, West Brom and Crystal Palace.
New incumbent Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has used his contacts at his former club to his advantage and Zaha is expected to undergo a medical ahead of a loan move to South Wales until the end of the season.
Zaha has managed just 30 minutes of football for Manchester United this season, and managed to complete only one of his four take-on attempts.
