Reportedly, Russian Football Championship side Zenit St Petersburg are prepared to make a move for Manchester United winger Luis Nani. The Portugal international has made well over 100 English Premier League appearances for Manchester United since arriving at Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon at the start of the 2007-08 season.
Zenit St Petersburg coach Luciano Spalletti has confirmed his interest in the bandy legged flankman who is believed to be unsettled at Manchester United after negotiations over a new deal broke down.
Luciano Spalletti: “The news about Luis Nani is true. Everything will depend on how much players cost because we won’t pay excessive amounts of money. I am not talking about an offer to a particular player, but an offer to a club. If the club won’t sell a player, then there is no thought of making an offer to the player himself.”
