According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Real Madrid’s current Sporting Director and Assistant Coach Zinedine Zidane is set to be leaving the Bernabéu at the end of the season.
It is understood that Zidane is currently a tenderfoot in coaching and may be urged to explore the possibility of widening his experience by coaching elsewhere. Recently, the Frenchman has been tipped to manage Monaco currently held by Italian Claudio Ranieri.
The Spanish newspaper also reported that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez may have plans for Zidane to take the reigns of the Spanish club in the future, given enough experience.
