French football legend Zinedine Zidane has praised Juventus for winning the Serie A for the fifth time adding that the club still holds a special place in his heart.
The present Real Madrid coach had played for the Italian giants from 1996 to 2001.
"I am happy for Juve's Scudetto and they are still in my heart. Always forza Juve!," Zidane was quoted as saying by football-italia.net on Wednesday.
Real have the option of buying back striker Alvaro Morata from Juventus and asked if they will activate it this summer Zidane said, "We'll see."
Real were held to a goalless stalemate by Manchester City in their Champions League first-leg semi-final but what came as a real shock was that their star forward Cristiano Ronaldo was not even on the bench.
"He was unable to play. He felt something in yesterday's training session. The important thing is that he recovers for the second leg and we will evaluate his condition day by day," Zidane said.
"It's obvious that his absence influenced the game, but those who did play performed well. We are all doing a good job in the defensive movements and are giving our all."
