Manchester United have yet to announce any sort of confirmation on their official channels, but it is safe to say that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be a Red Devil. Ibrahimovic’s signing represents a coup for Manchester United, as the former PSG striker enjoyed one of the best seasons last year.
Ibrahimovic chose 30th June to make the announcement, since he would earn a loyalty bonus from PSG for seeing out his contract.

The Swedish veteran has won the league in every country he has played, having won the La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1 with the likes of Barcelona, AC Milan, PSG. The English Premier League represents a major league that he has not played in, until now.
Ibrahimovic has previously noted his affection for Jose Mourinho, noting that he would love to work with his former Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho again. With Pep Guardiola set to take over the reigns at Manchester City, Ibrahimovic’s signing presents a mouth-watering clash for the Premier League next season, with the Swede famously falling out with the former Barcelona manager.
Zlatan’s agent Mino Raiola had previously noted “I think he wants revenge on Guardiola, although he does not live for it because you shouldn't have two graves - one for him and one for the enemy. It seems destiny wants to see that meeting take place. One option is to go to the Premier League but for as long as Sweden continue in the Euros there will be no solution.”
