Talismanic striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, surprised no one when he took to Instagram and interviewed himself before the UEFA Champions League against English side, Manchester City. The Swede – who missed a penalty against the English – specifically asked himself about Joe Hart making the whole thing such an ironic affair.
Paris Saint-Germain drew 2-2 to Manchester City with the big Swede scoring once. However, he had a penalty against Joe Hart early in the game as well scuffling multiple chances later in the game. His goal, however, was not a very 'Zlatan goal' as he described in the Instagram post.
While Zlatan scored past Manchester City's Joe Hart, they now have two away goals against their name for when they travel to the Etihad in a week's time. Fernandinho and Kevin de Bruyne made up for Fernando's mistake as they took the lead against the Parisians before former Manchester City trainee Adrian Rabiot equalised to make it 2-2.
Paris Saint-Germain now travel to Guingamp on Saturday. Having already won the title in record time – in just 30 games – Laurent Blanc's men will focus on the Champions League given this is their best shot in reaching the finals.
Manchester City, meanwhile, are fourth in the Premier League and will look to fend off the challenges of West Ham United and Manchester United for that final Champions League spot. They host West Brom at the Etihad on Saturday.
