Zlatan Ibrahimovic looks set to be announced as a Manchester United player as soon as Jose Mourinho is officially appointed the manager of the club. Ibrahimovic is coming off his best ever season in his career, scoring 51 goals in all competitions. He was instrumental in Paris Saint-Germain winning the Ligue 1 title and qualifying for the Champions League quarter-finals where his goals sunk Chelsea.
The 34-year-old left the club after four years, becoming their all-time top scorer in the process. Zlatan also has the record of scoring in the Champions League with six different teams and also winning the league in whichever country he has played in. The big Swede also has the maximum number of goals for his national team with 62 goals, having represented them 112 times.
The former Barca man had played under Jose Mourinho for a season at Inter Milan before being sold to Barcelona. The two share a very good relationship with the Swede even going to the extent of saying that he would kill for Mourinho.

After his contract with PSG expired, his future has been up for debate, although it has been reported that he is close to joining Manchester United. When asked about his future, he said: "I have concrete offers from England, Italy, from all countries.
“There are concrete offers from England, Italy, all countries. Even outside Europe. There are concrete inquiries. There are many options! You need not worry.
"I want to enjoy it as written. According to some, it would be clear within 48 hours. It's fun to find the rat, who is talking”, said the Swede. He added, "He [Mourinho] is the man to bring them [Manchester United] back to the top".
"I had a fantastic time working with him. If we will work again I don't know.
"I have missed working with Mourinho every day since I left Inter. "It's a good move (for Man Utd). I think it’s a great move, you want action you bring in Mourinho." The former PSG man added: "I have spoken to Jose Mourinho every day since I left Inter. He is a close friend."
Ibrahimovic is preparing for the Euro 2016 with Sweden. He would look to give it his best as it might be his last Euros. Sweden kick-off their Euro campaign when they go up against Ireland in the Group E fixture on the 13th of June, 2016.
