What is the lore behind Peely in Fortnite?
Peely is perhaps the most well-known character in Fortnite. He is one of Jones' best friends and one of the most important members of the Seven's Resistance back in the day. Due to his minimal intelligence (given that he’s a banana), he always manages to put himself in harm’s way. Perhaps this is his way of being brave or showing bravado, but for everyone else, it causes pure panic. But he’s always a bonafide hero. Back in Chapter 3 Season 2, he managed to drive a Slurp Truck to heal the damaged mech during The Collision live event. If not for him, it is very likely that The Imaged Order would still be in control of the island.
He was also kidnapped (or rather banana-napped) at the start of Chapter 5 Season 1 by The Society. He was eventually reduced by Vengeance Jones and brought back to safety. There’s also a new variant of Peely called Peelverine who is part of the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Absolute Doom Battle Pass. Coming back to Peely, his in-game description sums up the character in two words, it reads, “Go bananas!”

Can you buy Peely in Fortnite?
Can you buy Peely in Fortnite? Unfortunately, there is no way to buy Peely Guff in-game. As mentioned, the character was exclusive to the Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 8 Battle Pass. As such, it will never be brought back to the game. Other snapshots and variants of the character do exist, but the original is permanently vaulted. On the bright side, if you own the character, you will be able to use the character while exploring new LEGO Fortnite seeds. If you have a squad that has other Peely skins, you could all cosplay as different Guffs in-game.
When was Peely last seen in Fortnite and when will it be available?
Peely was never listed in the Fortnite Item Shop. As such, it will not be listed in the Fortnite Item Shop Tomorrow. The item has been permanently vaulted for the time being.
