What is the lore behind Kawspeely in Fortnite?

Kawspeely was designed by Brian Donnelly who is an American artist and designer. His creations were added to Fortnite as part of a collaboration between him and Epic Games. Much like his other counterpart Kaws, Kawspeely shares many of the similarities of the first character that was introduced as part of this collaboration. While the character is largely based on Peely, it's not a variant of everyone's favorite clumsy banana.

In terms of lore, Kawspeely has no specific background that connects them to the ongoing storyline at the moment. For all intents and purposes, the character was only created as part of a collaboration between Epic Games and Brian Donnelly. Outside of this, there is nothing that connects them to anything.

Despite the lack of backstory or even a proper introduction, Kawspeely is still a rather popular and sought-after character in the Metaverse. Given their connection to the Kaws franchise, players are eager to own a piece of this artist's work in-game. That being said, Epic Games may expand upon the character's lore in the future and add to their backstory, but for the time being, this is all there is to talk about.

What are the cosmetic items related to Kawspeely in Fortnite?

Kawspeely is part of the KAWS Set and can be purchased via the KAWSPEELY Bundle. It includes numerous cosmetics such as: Kawspeely (Outfit), Kaws Skeleton (Outfit + Selectable Styles), Far From Home (Glider), Kaws Companion (Glider), and Ripe On Time (Item Wrap).

Should you buy Kawspeely in Fortnite?

Should you buy Kawspeely in Fortnite? If you are a fan of KAWS and want to own a piece of Brian Donnelly's artwork in-game, this is a good way to do so. The only downside is that Kawspeely has no LEGO Style. For those eager to explore new LEGO Fortnite seeds using the character, they will have to wait a while. It is currently unknown if Epic Games is working on a model for the LEGO mode.

When was Kawspeely last seen in Fortnite and when will it return?

Kawspeely was last seen in the Fortnite Item Shop on October 16, 2023. The character has been listed 20 times on 19 different days since being released. Based on past trends, it is unclear when Epic Games will add Kawspeely back to the game soon.

That said, the character could be featured in-game soon. Be sure to check into the Fortnite Item Shop tomorrow to see if Epic Games surprises you by adding Kawspeely back to the game.
