There is no lore related to Unstuffed Guff in Fortnite. As far as anyone can tell, he is a snapshot/variant of the original Guff who has two snapshots/variants called Guff Gringle and Sled Ready Guff. Unstuffed Guff was released during the No Sweat Summer of 2022 which makes him a summer-themed character. He was added in with other snapshots/variants such as Riptide Raz and Undercover Kor. Their original characters are Raz and Kor respectively. That being said, Unstuffed Guff has never played a role in the storyline. He merely exists as a cosmetic entity.
What makes him stand out from the original Guff is the fact that he’s not fluffy. Instead, he’s rather slim. This could be due to the fact he was added in a Summerfest cosmetic. They wanted to make him look more aesthetic, and hence they kept him slim.
