Located close to the center of the island, Anvil Square is the perfect landing spot. With more than 50 chests and two Oathbound Chests, players are almost guaranteed to get amazing gear after landing here.

Surviving this area might be tricky as it's usually a hot drop. However, with a little bit of practice, players can come out alive with fantastic loot.

2) Slappy Shores

If players miss Slurpy Swamp from Chapter 2, there is no doubt that they will be in love with Slappy Shores. A Slap Juice factory can be found in this area, and one can also easily heal up by breaking Slap barrels.

The landing spot has 53 chests and a lot of floor loot. It is located on the eastern side of the island, which may make rotating to a safe zone tricky.

Fortunately, Slappy Shores has a couple of dirt bike spawns as well!

3) The Citadel

If players want a boss battle in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, the Citadel is the perfect landing spot. By fighting the Ageless Champion, they have a chance to obtain his Mythic Ex-caliber Rifle.

Additionally, this landing spot is great for opening Oathbound Chests. When it comes to regular chests, there are 22 of them on the small island.

4) Frenzy Fields

Frenzy Fields is very similar to Frenzy Farm, a popular location in Chapter 2. It looks beautiful and has around 40 chests.

While this location has no Oathbound Chests, it has a lot of floor loot and several dirt bikes. Additionally, there is a capture point in the area.

5) Shattered Slabs

Shattered Slabs is the new Fortnite Chapter 4 location that has a quarry. This spot, located northwest of Frenzy Fields, has a lot of loot, including 35 chests and three Oathbound Chests.

This Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 spot is not only great for loot but also for cover, as it provides access to caverns where one can hide.

Tilted Towers is no longer available in Fortnite Battle Royale, but Faulty Splits offers players a new place with an urban environment and fantastic loot. As its name indicates, the location is split into two parts — urban and medieval.

In total, players can find more than 50 chests in this area. Additionally, there are three Oathbound Chests on the medieval side of the location.

7) Brutal Bastion

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 has many medieval locations, and Brutal Bastion is one of the most popular ones. Located in the heart of the snow biome, the area offers more than 40 chests, which will help players start a match properly.

Additionally, there are many ziplines in the area that one can use to move quickly over the island. Considering that the location has a lot of hills around it, landing here can be tricky if there are a lot of enemies around.

8) Lonely Labs

If players loved landing at Frosty Flights back in Chapter 1, they will most likely enjoy Lonely Labs. This isolated island in the northeastern part of the map is perfect if one enjoys a slower start to the game.

The small snowy island has 28 chests in total. Leaving the area can be quite tricky. Players should use the ziplines that connect it to the rest of the map.

9) Breakwater Bay

Breakwater Bay is the perfect spot if players want to land next to the water. Located on the northwestern part of the island, it offers more than 30 chests and a couple of Oathbound Chests.

If players need to move quickly to the safe zone, they can use the many vehicles in the area, including motorboats.

10) Exile Isle

If players prefer to avoid fights early in the game, Exile Isle may be their ideal landing spot. This Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 area is located in the southern part of the map, southeast of Frenzy Fields.

Exile Isle has 11 chests and an Oathbound Chest. Additionally, it has a Holo-Chest, floor loot, and several ammo boxes. While we don't recommend this location in Trios or Squads, it should be perfect for Solo or Duos game modes.

After looting it, players can rotate north to Humble Hamlet, which has eight more chests.
