What differentiates Fortnite from other battle royale video games is an immersive storyline and an Omniverse that encompasses a plethora of cosmetic outfits. Skins are an indispensable part of the game and a huge contributor to Epic Games' revenue.
As of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4, there are over 1,400 cosmetic outfits. Given such level of prominence, it is natural that some skins perform better than others and are thus more preferred. Although every outfit is unique on its own, there are a few that are popular due to extrinsic factors.
Amongst these popular skins, there are a handful that have been tested over and over, and remain the preferred choice of sweats and noobs alike. This listicle numerates the 10 most used skins in the game as of 2022.

5) Manic
Manic is one of the most used skins in the game. Introduced in Season X, he has been in circulation for over three years; there are hardly any other cosmetic outfits that enjoy such popularity.
The developers have updated the skin from time to time, with the last one being in Chapter 3 Season 3. Manic also has a male counterpart called Foxfire who slightly resembles SypherPK.
6) Bytes
Currently the most used skin in Fortnite, Bytes is a mysterious character who is speculated to be colluding with the Nothing.
