Knowing the worst landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is crucial for players aiming to get the Shogun 'Brella Glider early in the season. The introduction of the brand-new chapter has brought major changes in both the Named Locations as well as movement physics of Fortnite, which could be challenging for newcomers and those returning after a break.

The viability of landing spots is determined on the basis of resources, mobility, and vulnerability of your position on the map. On that note, here are the four worst landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 that you should avoid if you are aiming for the Victory Royale.

Hopeful Heights and three other worst landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1

4) Hopeful Heights

Hopeful Heights is located at the southeast corner of the map, right after the cherry blossom tree trail ends. This area has a low number of chests, and mobility options are very limited as well.

Not only this, but it is at the bottom-most area of the map. As such, even the first Storm Circle of the map can make it out of bounds, leaving the player who lands there barely any time to get proper loot.

3) Canyon Crossing

Though this might seem like a hot take, we find Canyon Crossing to be one of the worst landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. The number of chests in the area is average, and too many players land here. If you fall down, there are chances that you land on the large stones and get eliminated. Even if you survive the fall, you have no option except to swim and run away, as the loot is minimal. This makes surviving in Canyon Crossing quite difficult.

2) Rolling Blossoms Farm (Landmark)

Though Rolling Blossoms Farm is one of the most beautiful POIs that Fortnite has ever added, it is mostly a large flower bed with barely any loot or mobility options. Moreover, you are between a lot of hot areas which could result in you getting sandwiched by multiple enemies at once. Despite being just a Landmark, it is bigger than a few Named Locations, and barely has any hiding spots.

1) Brutal Boxcars

There are many reasons why Brutal Boxcars is one of the worst landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. It is a small location with one of the least amount of chest spawns in the game. The amount of materials available to harvest is low, and the worst is that you are at the center of the map, vulnerable from all directions.

It does have a good amount of mobility options. But for the sake of getting a vehicle, you will be compromising on everything else if you pick Brutal Boxcars as your primary landing spot.

It is to be noted that the Fortnite map keeps evolving with time, and the POIs are likely to change in the coming weeks. Keeping that in mind, this list of the worst landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 could be updated in the future. The Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 will be concluded on January 14, 2025.
