Finding the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 could be a challenge, considering the whole map has been changed right after the end of the Chapter 2 Remix: The Finale event. The new Fortnite chapter features an interesting blend of futuristic elements and Japanese culture. Various Japanese POIs have been added to the game, each with a completely different vibe.

A landing spot is judged on many factors — the density of enemies, the number of chests, the strategic position on the map, and mobility options. Moreover, locations with good hiding spots or quick access to high ground are generally ideal, especially for competitive players.

On that note, here are the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1.

Overlook Lighthouse and other good landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1

7) Overlook Lighthouse (Landmark)

The Overlook Lighthouse is located in the easternmost part of the map, next to the Shining Span. Though it looks like a small place with minimal loot, it is very safe from early fights. For mobility, it has both a Launchpad on the edge of the hill and a few vehicles down the hill in the south, making storm rotation easy.

6) Big Bend (Landmark)

The Big Bend is located right next to Canyon Crossing, one of the worst landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. While the exact area named Big Bend has almost no loot, the easily accessible nearby small locations have numerous things to collect.

If you are a solo veteran focusing on getting placement points rather than eliminations, a rotation around the Big Bend would be highly effective and safe for you.

5) Whiffy Wharf

The Whiffy Wharf is located on the northwest side of the map, to the left of Flooded Frogs. This Named Location is likely to become out of bounds in the first Storm Circle most of the time. However, what makes it a great place to land is the amount of wood, the number of hiding spots, and the almost endless loot. Even if you need to escape the Storm Circle, there's always a vehicle available somewhere in the vicinity.

4) Burd

Burd is a small Named Location between Nightshift Forest and Shogun's Solitude. Despite being a tiny area, it has all these things in one place: chests, a Fuel Station, vehicles, a Slurp Truck, Slurp Barrels, and various hiding spots.

Moreover, a lot of players are rather busy eliminating NPC bosses, so you will not get into risky early-game fights and will have enough time to loot and prepare yourself. The combination of all these factors makes Burd one of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1.

3) Kite's Flight (Landmark)

Kite's Flight is one of the farthest landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 from the center. It is a separate mini island to the right of Hopeful Heights.

While it is quite far from the main areas and is vulnerable to Storm Circles almost every time, there are ziplines and multiple Launchpads within a few-hundred-meter radius of the location.

2) Nightshift Forest

If you are looking for a large POI with lots of loot and hiding options that make you feel safe, Nightshift Forest is arguably the best Named Location to land in during this season.

There are hundreds of giant trees and stones to harvest materials, tens of chests every few meters, and some mobility options as well. The purple forest biome looks amazing in-game, and has enough things to help you survive.

1) Splitting Pins (Landmark)

Splitting Pins is the southernmost and one of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, especially for teams. Here, you can find a good amount of loot, a Reboot Van, multiple vehicles, and almost no early-game battles (so you can explore peacefully). Right above in the northern direction, you can find even more small houses in the snow biome to loot and take cover in.

So now you have a list of the best landing spots in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. Note that the list is subject to change, as the Fortnite map keeps changing over time.
