Boons in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1: Everything you need to know
As of now, there are four types of Boons in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1: Fire, Water, Void, and Wind. There are three ways of getting Boons in the game:
Master the game with our Fortnite Interactive Map v33.00 here!
- Void or Fire Boon: Eliminate Demon Warrior NPCs.
- Water or Wind Boon: Return a Sprites to the Sprite Shrine.
- Any Boon: Open Elemental Chests.
Here are the perks of finding these Boons in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1:
Water Boon
The Water Boon is probably the most common you can find in the game. Upon picking up this item, you are granted the ability to gain health and shield slowly while you are swimming. Your nearby teammates can also heal if they are close to you.
However, the healing rate is too slow, and you may not be able to completely rely on it. Rather make it a passive way of making healing faster while you are applying a Med Kit or using other healing items.

Fire Boon
The Fire Boon is quite rare to obtain. When you pick it up, all your weapons reload significantly faster than before. Though the exact rate of reload speed increase is unknown, finding a Fire Boon is a great item for competitive players.

Void Boon
The Void Boon is one of the most powerful Boons in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, especially if you play duos or squads. If you knock or eliminate a player or NPC, then it reveals the location of all nearby enemies in a limited radius.
This is a very powerful item, especially during the end phase of the match when the Storm Circle is very small.

Wind Boon
The Wind Boon is yet another common item that can be easily obtained. Upon picking it up, it gives you a significant boost in movement speed when you have the pickaxe in your hand. However, it does not increase your sprinting speed nor upgrade your Stamina Bar.
Nonetheless, having this item would help you a lot if there aren't many mobility options nearby and you are out of stamina.
That's all the Boons in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1. Do note that the Fortnite loot pool and map keep evolving every few weeks. So, the types of Boons and the ways of obtaining them are likely to change in the coming weeks. You can check out the Fortnite Interactive Map to see the changes live.
