All chicken pen locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4

With the end of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 close, Epic Games is kicking off the Wild Weeks. These have been around since the middle of Chapter 2 Season 6 and have served as a way for gamers to experience new themes, new and possibly long forgotten items, and more in a specialized week.

The first is Avian Ambush Week, which begins today. These come with challenges, too, as very week has a possible 200,000 XP available and two level-up tokens (which automatically increase the level by one).

As a result, chicken pens have been placed around the map at various locations. These will be central to many of the challenges and will have chickens in them. Here's where you can find them.

Avian Ambush Week: Chicken pen locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4

Chicken pens are a brand new addition to the map as there were none before this week.

They are easily identified as they have a small red coop and wooden fence running around a small plot of land. According to leaks, here's where you can find them.

Based on this leaked video, there is one at these landmarks:

• On a small hill in the middle region of the map
• Across the water from the metal buildings at Loot Lake (near the airstream)
• Where the Chrome has extended to the grassy portion just outside of Rocky Reels

Right now, these are the only locations that have been leaked for the chicken pens. Here are their approximate positions marked on the Fortnite map:

According to these leaks, there aren't a ton of chicken pens in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4. If that is the case when the Wild Week officially goes live, you may have to do a lot of traveling to find one.

This is especially true since the leaked locations of the pens are in the same general region of the Fortnite map.

However, chickens are pretty easy to travel with. In fact, they're considered a mobility item because of the low-gravity boost they give, which allows anyone holding them to glide through the air faster than they walk.

These will be present on the island for about a week. Once this Wild Week ends, the chicken pens will likely be removed as they will no longer be relevant.

Here are the rest of this week's XP challenges that can help you level up quite a bit:

• Catch a chicken in three different matches
• Use a D-Launcher while holding a chicken
• Deal damage with a chicken peck (1)
• Throw 10 chickens
• Return a chicken to a pen
• Travel 300 meters while holding a chicken
• Fall 4 stories while holding a chicken
• Hunt 20 glowing loot chickens
• Slide for 30 meters continuously while holding a chicken
• Deal 200 damage to chickens

Most of these can easily be started by finding one of the new chicken pens in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4. This challenge and the full Avian Ambush Wild Week will go live at about 9 am EST.
