It is important to note that there is a Legendary variant of each fish in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, which players can only encounter by chance. However, if you want to increase your odds of coming across these Legendary variants, a higher-rarity Fishing Rod and a Bait Bucket will be required. These items can be crafted easily by upgrading your bench or unlocking additional items.

Fishing in the LEGO Fortnite Odyssey borrows from the previously introduced fishing system in the Battle Royale game mode. To acquire a Fishing Rod, players need a Crafting Bench, which can be upgraded to unlock the ability to craft higher-rarity Fishing Rods.

The ingredients required to craft a Fishing Rod are listed below:

  • Common Fishing Rod: Wooden Rod (x1), Wolf Claw (x1), Cord (x2)
  • Uncommon Fishing Rod: Silk Thread (x1), Knotroot Rod (x2), Cord (3), Wolf Claw (x3)
  • Rare Fishing Rod: Drawstring (x1), Wool Thread (x2), Flexwood Rod (x3), Sand Claw (x3)
  • Epic Fishing Rod: Drawstring (x2), Heavy Wool Thread (x3), Arctic Claw (x3), Frostpine Rod (x4)

To increase their chances of catching better fish, players will need a Bait Bucket. This will allow them to spawn a fishing hole in a spot of their choice. Much like the Fishing Rod, the Bait Bucket in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey has a variety of rarities that can have an impact on your fishing efficiency. Players can craft the common Bait Bucket at a Food Processor using a Fish Fillet.

However, to make higher Uncommon, Rare, and Epic variants of the item, they will require a Juicer in their Lego Fortnite Odyssey world. This machine will unlock more resources that can be combined to make these potent baits.
