Quite a few Fortnite Battle Pass collaboration exclusive skins will never be obtained again. These are considered rarest of all by the community. While original skins are also part of this, collaborative exclusives are the main focus. They comprise characters from various franchises such as the MCU, DCEU, Adult Swim, and even Fallout.
Given the sheer variety, missing out on obtaining these unique characters is a major loss and cause for FOMO. Players have tried everything to get their hands on these skins, but there's no legal way to do so. Thus, many even fall prey to malicious scams.
Thankfully, Epic Games has removed Battle Pass exclusivity. However, this will only take effect from Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 onward. As such, content from previous Battle Passes will remain vaulted. It's not a complete victory, but moving forward, players will have the option of buying "exclusive" cosmetics whenever they want.

Will any of the Fortnite Battle Pass collaboration exclusive skins ever return?
Epic Games has made it extremely clear that these skins will never return. However, variants of these characters can still be created and featured in-game.
This has been done numerous times for both original and collaborative characters; the most recent examples are Deadpool (Pen & Ink) and Wolverine (Pen & Ink). With the leaked Fortnite 2024 roadmap hinting at Doctor Doom taking center stage as the antagonist next season, there's bound to be a new variant of him.
While some amazing characters will never be obtainable again, there's hope for the future. Moving forward, every cosmetic that's part of the Battle Pass will be available for purchase 18 or more months after its expiration date.
