On March 7, 2023, Epic Games teased two images for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. Although the Battle Pass for the upcoming season has already been showcased, seeing the outfits as they will appear in-game is a huge deal. Two of them were showcased: Mizuki and Thunder.
Staying true to the outfits showcased in the leaked surveys, it's safe to say that Epic Games really 'slayed.' They both look spectacular and carry the Japanese vibe effortlessly.
Mizuki happens to be a female outfit that can be seen wielding dual-tessens. They will be featured in-game as harvesting tools. Her glider has a very similar look and feel to it as well.
The back bling, on the other hand, looks completely different and extremely unique. All said and done, the outfit and the associated cosmetics look amazing.
Moving on to Thunder, aka Lizard, he gives off a strong 'Yakuza' vibe. Given that he's speculated to be part of the Peace Syndicate, giving him a gangster-like vibe would make sense. One of the things that sticks out of the norm for this outfit is the glider that's associated with it. Thunder's glider is a literal futuristic bike.
Moving on to the Back Bling, Harvesting Tool, and Spray, they all feature elements that are associated with a sushi chef. Given that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 will have a strong Japanese theme to it, this again fits right into the esthetics of the season.
With all that said, for the time being, these are the only two outfits that have been confirmed for the Battle Pass. However, given that the leakers got two out of eight predictions correct thus far, everything that has been predicted will come true.
What else is there to take away from these Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 teasers?
For starters, the outfits showcased in the teasers are all placed next to a pink neon background. Although they are blurred out, it's clear that these are the city lights behind them. Perhaps even giant billboards. All in all, this is the first sneak peak of the Neo-Tokyo POI.
Keeping true to real-life inspiration, the entire POI will be lit up like a Christmas tree. During the nighttime in-game cycle, the area surrounding the POI will likely be illuminated as well.
It'll be interesting to see where this POI is placed on the map. While the snow/ice biome does have a lot of space, the uneven terrain makes the location largely unsuitable. With all that said, more Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 teasers should start appearing soon.
