Grapple Gloves arrived alongside the Indiana Jones collaboration, which was featured back in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. Sadly, when the season ended, the item was tossed into the vault. However, given how popular it is and considering the mobility it offers, the community wanted it back in-game.
Displaying a rare occasion when the developers gave in to popular demand, the item was added back to the loot pool after the update v.22.10 had commenced. The item is likely to remain in circulation until the end of the current season. With all that said, here's all the possible locations to find Grapple Gloves in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4.

All possible locations for Grapple Gloves in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4
1) Chests and Rare Chests
With the majority of the island's loot available via chests, it should come as no surprise that Grapple Gloves can be found in them as well. On that note, it should be remembered that Rare Chests will have a higher chance of spawning the item than normal chests.
However, this does not mean that the odds of finding one in a Rare Chest are very high. Players will most likely find one after opening a few chests during the course of a match.
2) Floor Loot
Floor loot is generally reserved for basic early-game items that players will require at the beginning of the game. Interestingly, it seems like Epic Games has shown a more generous side this season, with Grapple Gloves spawning on the floor as well.
That said, since floor loot usually comprises basic items/weapons, coming across a Grapple Glove will be a lucky find. Those who do manage to come across this item should count their blessings and use it wisely.
3) Supply Drop
Supply Drops are a thing of beauty in Fortnite as they contain some of the best loot in-game and can be a life-saver in certain situations. While they can be slightly difficult to spot during gameplay, keeping an eye out for them is well worth the effort.
Players will have to destroy them to obtain the loot inside. While the odds of finding a Grapple Glove are high, the most common loot dropped from these are usually healing items and weapons.
4) Reality Sapling
Despite The Reality Tree dying and being consumed by Chrome in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4, the Reality Saplings are doing just fine. Those who manage to weed their Sapling and get it to a legendary rarity have a chance to obtain Grapple Gloves from it when searching for loot.
Since Reality Saplings traditionally provide healing items, gold bars, and weapons, finding a Grapple Glove is a matter of luck. Nevertheless, in most cases, players will likely obtain one with ease.
5) Supply Llama
Finding a Supply Llama in Fortnite depends heavily on one's luck and timing. Since they spawn on the island randomly, finding one is a big deal. When players encounter a Llama during a match, they should try to destroy it to obtain the loot within.
While there's no guarantee that a Grapple Glove will be found, players will definitely get a Chug Cannon. This item can be put to good use in combat and can be used indefinitely, since it recharges on its own.
