While it is not possible to acquire the Paradigm skin in Fortnite anymore, Epic Games did slip up recently. In an accidental update to the Fortnite Item Shop in Chapter 5 Season 3, Epic Games inadvertently released The Paradigm skin for players to purchase.
This was not intended on the developers’ behalf since it was communicated that The Paradigm skin would be a limited release in the Item Shop when it was first released in Chapter 1 Season X.
However, players were able to purchase the skin in Chapter 5 Season 3. In order to rectify the error of the Paradigm skin in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, Epic Games announced that the outfit will be removed from players' cosmetic library, provided they purchased it in Chapter 5 Season 3.
However, this led to significant backlash and uproar among players, with members of the community coming forward to express how they should be allowed to keep the skin in their collections. The developers heeded the calls of the community, coming forward to reveal how the Paradigm skin will remain in players' lockers moving forward, regardless of when they purchased it.
In addition to this, players who purchased the Paradigm skin in Chapter 5 Season 3 will be refunded the V-Bucks they spent on the outfit. For players who purchased it in Chapter 1 Season X, Epic Games has confirmed that they are working on a style that will be exclusive to OG owners of the skin.
All things considered, the entire situation turned out to be a win for everyone as players got a chance to acquire a beloved skin while previous owners came out with a new style for the Paradigm skin in Fortnite.
