The release of the Fortnite Magneto Gauntlets Mythic has undoubtedly been one of the highlights of Chapter 5 Season 3, with Epic Games providing players with the opportunity to hone the power of magnetism much like the master of magnetism, Magneto. The item has been positively received by most players, widely due to its ability to make for memorable and sometimes unexpected gameplay moments.

This is highlighted in a recent Reddit post shared by u/HiddenAmongTheCrowd, where the player can be seen in a solo Zero Build match in Chapter 5 Season 3 donning the Solid Snake Outfit. As the player eliminated an enemy using the Fortnite Magneto Gauntlets Mythic, they let out one more shot from the Gauntlets into the distance. However, the player was surprised when they scored another elimination from over 500 meters.

Other members of the community took to the comments to express their own opinions regarding the player's unintentional kill. Reddit user u/No_Pipe_8257 joked about how the eliminated player must have been caught off-guard seeing a large ball of metal fly at them out of nowhere. To this, Reddit user u/New-Ad-5003 added how it must have almost been like the gods smote the player.

Meanwhile, Reddit user u/Standard-Tourist-275 highlighted the distance of the kill, expressing their surprise at projectiles traveling as far as 500 meters. Reddit user u/CROWNLeaksFN, on the other hand, joked about how the eliminated player would think that Epic Games added a new Asteroid Live Event upon being eliminated.

The Fortnite Magneto Gauntlets Mythic were added to the game in Chapter 5 Season 3 as part of Epic Games' collaboration with Marvel, a crossover that brought with it the Wastelander Magneto Outfit in the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass. The Gauntlets are immensely powerful as seen in the Reddit clip, and luckily for players, the Mythic can be found in floor loot and chests.

Additionally, you can also make your way to the Brawler's Battleground POI to interact with Wastelander Magneto and purchase the Magneto Gauntlets Mythic in exchange for Gold Bars.
