The hype for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 is unreal, to say the very least. The current season is chock-full of content and loopers are enjoying swinging across the map with their web shooters.
Though the Spider-Man crossover will end in a week, Epic Games already has several pending projects for the upcoming season. This includes POIs, vehicles, features, weapons, and more.
On that note, here's everything to expect from Chapter 3 Season 2.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2: Speculated map changes
While Chapter 3 Season 1 has been all about map changes, loopers might be disappointed with the map in Chapter 3 Season 2. Earthquakes are constantly turning landmarks into sinkholes, but there isn't a lot of information on any upcoming POIs.
As it turns out, Cattus Cave might be the only major POI that will be included in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2. The addition of this POI also makes a lot of sense because Dr. Slone is currently trying to reincarnate the beast (Cattus monster) from Chapter 1 with the help of the IO's massive drillers.
Naturally, the Cattus Cave POI is home to the powerful monster, and loopers will be able to hear the groaning sounds as well, with leakers even providing audio files of the legendary beast.
Apart from that, large-scale drilling may very likely cause some minor map changes. However, it is too early to assume if these changes will be good enough to satisfy the demands of loopers.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2: New items, mechanics, loot, and more
While map changes in Chapter 3 Season 2 could be scarce, players can at least look forward to a ton of new mechanics and weapons.
As per leaker HYPEX, the following items are unfinished and will most likely be released in the next season:
- Tanks- massive IO drillers might become drivable vehicles.
- Tactical Sprint- A mobility feature that is already popular in Call of Duty titles.
- Double Deagle- new weapons.
- Jetpack Chests- Literally, chests with Jetpacks.
- Clamber Mechanic- unknown gameplay feature.
- Tactical Overshield- seemingly a feature that grants more than 100 shield.
- Zeppelin- a new IO NPC.
- Vehicle mods like Armor and Turret (war-based).
- New weapons- Mythic Thermal AR, A melee weapon similar to Wolverine Blades.
- Shield Aura- item that heals an entire squad with 50 Shield.
- Squad Burst- Healer that heals an entire squad with 75 Health.
Even if a few of the aforementioned mechanics arrive in Chapter 3 Season 2, they'll certainly be enough to keep the game's meta fresh and engaging.
As of now, Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 is still live, and the new season should ideally arrive on March 19, 2022.
