Fortnite has a long history of interesting glitches and bugs that the player community comes across while fiddling across several game modes. From the infamous Creative XP glitch map, to accidentally diving into the first-person mode in a Battle Royale match, the community has found these exploits way too many times in the game.

Players have often used these exploits to gain a gameplay advantage or to benefit them across their Battle Pass XP to level up faster. While several bugs and glitches just affect the overall gameplay and loot pool on the island, a recently discovered glitch in Fortnite Chapter 4 can turn characters completely invisible.

However, to perform the glitch, players will need to activate the first-person mode in-game, which is currently only available in Creative and Save The World game modes. For those still wondering on how this bug can turn them invisible in Fortnite, here's a guide on how it works in Chapter 4 Season 1.

Latest Fortnite glitch in Chapter 4 turns players completely invisible

A recently discovered bug by a Twitter user called TweaBR shows them turning completely invisible on a Fortnite Creative island. The glitch is activated as soon as the player uses a scoped weapon i.e., a DMR or any kind of sniper in the first-person mode.

In the video above, the player has the first person mode activated in their Creative island and has a scoped weapon called the DMR, equipped in their inventory.

As soon as the player enters the scope of the weapon by using the ADS button, the hand and the physical body of the character disappears.

As they return back to the normal hipfire mode, the character completely disappears from the screen.

This glitch can only be achievable if players have their first person mode turned on. Currently, it is only available in the Creative and Save the World game modes. The files for the same were added in the latest v23.30 update and it is rumored to be soon added in the Battle Royale mode as well.

However, activating the first person mode in Creative and Save the World game modes is an elaborate process. In the former, it is only available while you are editing your island, using a process called Immersive Editing. The process also allows you to phase between objects that you create around the island.

However, in Save the World, before jumping into a mission, players can head over to their game settings and turn on First Person camera under the Extra Game Options list. As soon as you turn it on, you will be able to experience it in your next mission.

However, certain players have found a bug that lets players activate the view mode from Save the World and use it in Battle Royale.

To do the same, all players need to do is activate it in their Save The World settings and quickly change the game mode to Battle Royale and jump straight into a match. Using this, you will be able to get the first person in BR easily. Now to turn yourself completely invisible, find a DMR and enter the scope to disappear from the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 island altogether.
