Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is knocking at our door. It's scheduled to start soon after the current season ends on March 8. While Epic Games is hinting at something, the larger picture that's at hand is rather unclear.
Nevertheless, given how the current season turned out, the community has high hopes for the next one. This article lists 10 of the most interesting leaks showcased thus far.
The return of Fox Clan and nine other most interesting Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 leaks showcased thus far
1) Creative 2.0/UEFN
Master the game with our Fortnite Interactive Map v33.00 here!
It's no secret that Creative 2.0/UEFN will be coming out sometime in March. This has been confirmed by Tim Sweeney, CEO of Epic Games. But while the release date will fall early on in Chapter 4 Season 2, it's still not fixed by any means. Until Epic Games makes an official announcement, the date can be changed.
2) First-person mode
Unlike Creative 2.0/UEFN, the first-person mode will likely debut at the start of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. Given that the community has already used it via a glitch, it's safe to say that the mode is almost ready to be rolled out. However, it's left to be seen how this new POV functions in-game.
3) Fox Clan
A new Reality Rift featuring members of the Fox Clan was recently updated in the files. While this is only limited to an in-game encounter, many are speculating that this is the first sign of the Fox Clan making a comeback to the game. Considering that Driftwalker (an evil snapshot of Drift) was showcased in the current season, there are a few telltale signs of more to follow.
4) Geno and the Imagined Order
One of the leaked audio tapes for the latest set of Oathbound Challenges speaks of the Shapeless Man and his vision of a world of "perfect order." Although it hasn't been revealed that the Shapeless Man is indeed Geno, given the choice of words, it can be none other than him. With his return, there's no doubt that a new Imagined Order chapter will be established on the island.
5) Return of legacy POIs
During the Fortnite update 23.30, Bamboos were added to the game. Much like Tall Grass from Chapter 3, they are indestructible and can withstand the harshest of attacks. Although they were removed in the following update, v23.40, many believe that this was Epic Games dropping a hint about an upcoming POI. If this turns out to be true, Lucky Landing v2.0 or something similar will be added to Chapter 4 Season 2.
6) Opening of the Rift Gate
The Rift Gate is slowly opening, but Rift Warden Stellan is not too happy about it. Given that it was sabotaged and the coordinates likely changed, something is brewing or, worse yet, coming from the other side. Although it's not yet known what is happening, it's likely a precursor to the events that will follow in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.
7) Attack on Titan collaboration
Two major collaborations were rumored to occur in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2: Family Guy and Attack on Titan. While the former is based on files found in-game, leakers have confirmed the latter. The collaboration will feature Eren Yeager and the Omnidirectional mobility gear characters use in the anime. It will be added in-game as a Mythic item called Waist Grappler.
8) Lizard Battle Pass skin
According to leakers, the newly decrypted Lizardman skin may be featured in the Battle Pass in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. At the moment, their part in the storyline remains unknown, but it's being speculated that he's part of the Peace Syndicate.
9) Peace Syndicate
Speaking of Peace Syndicate, with Strings in-game related to them being found in the files after the update v23.50, it's safe to say they will return. For those unaware of who or what the Peace Syndicate is, they are the group that helped The Seven and the Resistance fight back against the Imagined Order in Fortnite Chapter 3.
10) Chapter 4 Season 2 Neo-Tokyo theme
Finally, one of the most profound leaks for the upcoming season reveals its theme. According to leakers, the theme of Chapter 4 Season 2 will be Neo-Tokyo and will implement numerous Japanese elements and assets. POIs and landmarks will be designed accordingly.
